Phil Priest

Phil Priest has worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry for 30 years having begun his career at the established S. A. Meacock Syndicate in Lloyd’s in October 1979.
Until 2000, Phil continued to work in the Lloyd’s market where he gained experience in all aspects of Syndicate work – becoming Reinsurance Manager, responsible for all outward protections including both reinsurance purchasing and the handling of reinsurance recoveries. He also underwrote a selective book of contingency business.
In 2000, Phil entered the independent consultancy field, gaining experience of litigation support projects and inspections, covering most classes of business, in both the U.K. and the U.S.A.
Since joining Cranmore in 2007, Phil has continued to be involved in peer review work, reinsurance commutations, inspections in the UK, Europe and USA, litigation support projects and due diligence analysis.
Job Summary
Commenced work in Lloyd’s for S. A. Meacock in 1979 before joining H. R. Rivington in 1997. He then joined a third party consultancy firm in 2000, before moving to Cranmore in 2007.
