Ian Tarrant

Ian Tarrant has worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry for approximately 20 years, having started his career in a Lloyd’s Underwriting Agency in 1989.
Working in the Lloyd’s environment he gained extensive reinsurance experience. At Cranmore he has gained inspection experience at various entities within the London Market including pools and broker’s covering the main classes of business and has been responsible for reviewing various Accident and Health books of business in the U.S. In addition, he has co-ordinated major litigation support projects.
Job Summary
Commenced work at Sedgwick Lloyd’s Underwriting Agency before moving internally to the broking arm of the company. In 1995 he joined another Underwriting Agency as a Senior Reinsurance Technician. Having transferred into Equitas, he ultimately acted as Run-Off Manager for various Syndicates. Ian joined Cranmore in September 2001 and in June 2011 transferred to the Tampa Office where he is a Vice President.
